As you move through your life you will be presented with opportunities and challeneges. 

 

It is important to look into the future and attempt to identify what you would like to do or who you want to be. 

 

After you have identfied an occupation, then think about what organization would employ you or an organization you would want to work for. 

 

If these occupations or orgazations are selective in who they recruit and hire, after they will not hire people who have criminal records, substance abuse history, or any record of behavoral difficulties. 

 

THEREFORE... If you want to pursue these selective occupations or organizations of employment, you need to begin now to make decisions which result in you meeting all the requirements of these jobs and organizations, 

 

AND 

 

to avoid making decisions which may result in you having a history or record of actions or behavior which could possibly BLOCK you from an opportunity to have a job in the field that you wish to work in or with an organization with which you want to work.
